Nansi Lent
Nansi Lent’s paintings, drawings, and digital composites explore the vibrational language of the mind and self-talk, with handwriting as a central motif. Blending vibrant hues, symbolic forms, and elements inspired by sacred texts and ancient scripts, her work reflects on the fading art of hand-crafted language in the digital age. Her pieces invite viewers to decode and contemplate, embracing the complexity of human communication and the meditative acceptance of incomprehension.
Lent studied Studio Art at Boston College and Visual Arts Administration at NYU, later building a studio in Rhinebeck, NY, where she continues her practice. She has exhibited extensively and has work in several private collections.
