Pamela Zaremba - Solo Show

In this series, Zaremba explores the roles of women in the Victorian era beyond the understood domestic environment of the time. Though the culture of the western world restricted women at this point, there were many who defied the status quo and pursued their passions successfully. As a mother with two teenage daughters, this strength was especially inspiring, leading to the creation of a new series of photographic works. Though the details have changed over time, there are still unfair expectations for young women that must be overcome in pursuit of their passions. 

Digital art renderings by Isabel Vlahakis which were inspired by this series will be featured.
